UFC president Dana White has decided that his opinion needs to be out there. From Ronda Rousey to Conor McGregor, it seems that nothing is off limits for a statement.
Dana White has been in the headlines a lot lately, which usually means deep things for the world of UFC.
His basic sentiment boils down to this: It’s not a given that lightweight champion Conor McGregor will ever fight again.
Now, it’s not a done deal UFC fans. The league is still in negotiations with McGregor, but it is not expected that he will be making UFC 219 in Las Vegas as originally anticipated. McGregor has been in the news lately, and not for the greatest reasons.

While he has had his problems in Ireland, we certainly hope to see him in the octagon sooner, rather than later.
On the other end of the spectrum, Dana White says that he is not interested in seeing bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey in the Octagon ever again.
While it seems extremely harsh, it’s not actually poor job performance, but compassion that leads him to this change of heart. “I don’t want it to happen. I care about her and she’s got enough money and all that stuff. I don’t want to see it happen.” It’s not surprising, considering defeats and health issues that Rousey has had. She also has had some celebration in her life as well.

Now, the president hasn’t officially retired her.
Dana White says Ronda Rousey remains in the USADA testing program and has not officially retired, though he doesn’t think she has any plans to fight. He adds he doesn’t want to see her fight

It’s always interesting to see what the UFC president has to say, it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
