If you were refreshing habitually on Twitter on Thursday you witnessed sudden life from a dreary Cleveland Browns. A week from free agency and on paper, look out for a Cleveland Browns’ squad 2018.

Cleveland Browns’ squad 2018

Cleveland has been known for flubbing top picks in the Draft, for example, the infamous Tim Couch jersey ranging from Tim to DeShone Kizer. Some might see this as genius by new GM John Dorsey but you have former GM Sashi Brown. With #1 and #4 in the First Round when news dropped about trades, fans feared their beloved picks were gone.

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry

Jarvis Landry lead the lead with 112 receptions averaging 8.8 yards per catch. Miami planned on using the Franchise Tag on Landry but sought permission to seek a trade. It came in a wheeling and dealing John Dorsey on the lookout for the next add for the Cleveland Browns’ squad 2018.

QB Tyrod Taylor

With a change in coaching, fans counted the days before Tyrod would be under center for another team. As a former Baltimore Raven, his playing style electrifies fans with the same fervor as Michael Vick. Athletic QBs scare most teams and Tyrod seems like an obvious bridge between the Browns’ player to be named later.

CB Damarious Randall for QB DeShone Kizer; Kizer to Green Bay Packers

Missing a shutdown corner since Joe Haden, the Browns reload. Besides swapping late round picks they send sophomore second-round QB to Green Bay as a heir to Aaron Rodgers who’s turning 35 in 2018. Randall snagged 4 INTs in 2017, returning 1 for a TD.

Kizer threw for 2,800 yds and 11 TDs  but threw double to opponents(22 INTs). He’ll fight with Michael Hundley for backup status. Money is on Kizer, as Hundley isn’t the one used. It seems that the Browns have forgotten Matt Flynn.

On March 10th, 2018, Browns send DT Danny Shelton to New England for a third round pick for 2019. Shelton, a run-stopping meatball, garnered a 11.5 million deal from Cleveland. He has 129 tackles as of 2018, mostly known for shoving Ben Rothlisberger after a play.

It’s up to John Dorsey, Browns GM, to figure out what to do with these trades. Browns could really shake things up if they grab Penn State RB Saquon Barkley and snatch up a Josh Allen, if he’s still on the board. Even if the draft goes bottoms-up, they’ll field a winning team come September.
