The NBA Draft is now in the books and the rookies have been selected by their teams. Here’s a look at how the lottery went in this year’s NBA Draft Lottery Recap.

1. Philadelphia 76ers

Ben Simmons, 19

Forward/Guard – LSU 6’10” 240 lbs.

Strengths: Athleticism. Rebounding. Elite ball-handling and passing ability for a player of any size.

Weaknesses: Shooting range.

2. Los Angeles Lakers

Brandon Ingram, 18

Forward – Duke 6’9” 195 lbs.

Strengths: Versatile scorer. 7’3” wingspan. Often compared to Kevin Durant.

Weaknesses: Needs to add bulk and improve upper body strength.

3. Boston Celtics

Jaylen Brown, 19

Forward/Guard – California 6’6” 220 lbs.

Strengths: Explosive athlete. Versatile defender.

Weaknesses: Outside shooting.

4. Phoenix Suns

Dragan Bender, 18

Forward – Croatia 7’1” 215 lbs.

Strengths: Solid Fundamentals. Reliable from 3. Good motor and good work ethic.

Weaknesses: Lacks athleticism and strength to protect the rim defensively or be a low post scorer.

5. Minnesota Timberwolves

Kris Dunn, 22

Guard – Providence 6’3” 205 lbs.

Strengths: Great playmaker. Can create his own shot. Athletic. Elite defender.

Weaknesses: Needs to be more careful taking care of the ball.

6. New Orleans Pelicans

Buddy Hield, 22

Guard – Oklahoma 6’4” 212 lbs.

Strengths: 3-point shooting. Has NBA range. Possibly the best shooter in the draft. Great character.

Weaknesses: Potentially one-dimensional at the NBA level.

7. Denver Nuggets

Jamal Murray, 19

Guard – Kentucky 6’4” 205 lbs.

Strengths: Great shooter. Good finisher around the basket.

Weaknesses: Projects as a weak defender at the NBA level.

8. Sacramento Kings

Marquese Chriss, 18 (Traded to Phoenix Suns)

Forward – Washington 6’9” 230 lbs.

Strengths: Explosive athlete. Plays above the rim at both ends of the floor.

Weaknesses: Commits too many fouls.

9. Toronto Raptors

Jakob Poeltl, 20

Center/Forward – Utah 7’0” 240 lbs.

Strengths: Good with back to the basket in the low post.

Weaknesses: Short wingspan for a player of his height.

10. Milwaukee Bucks

Thon Maker, 18

Forward – Orangeville Prep 7’0” 215 lbs.

Strengths: Versatile player with tons of potential. 7’4” wingspan.

Weaknesses: Not physically strong. Did not play college basketball.

11. Orlando Magic

Domantas Sabonis, 20 (Traded to Oklahoma City Thunder)

Forward/Center Gonzaga 6’10” 230 lbs.

Strengths: Great rebounder. Very tough. Very high motor.

Weaknesses: Lacks athleticism.

12. Utah Jazz

Taurean Prince, 21

Forward – Baylor 6’7” 220 lbs.

Strengths: Great size, length, and athleticism. Good outside shooter.

Weaknesses: Needs to be more consistent.

13. Phoenix Suns

Georgios Papagiannis, 19(Traded to Sacramento Kings)

Center – Panathinaikos 7’2” 240 lbs.

Strengths: Can score in the low post with his back to the basket.

Weaknesses: Needs to become physically stronger

14. Chicago Bulls

Denzel Valentine

Guard – Michigan State 6’4” 210 lbs.

Strengths: Good all-around game. Associated Press National Player of the Year.

Weaknesses: Speculation about potential knee problems.
