Just like two kids in a sand box , Charles Barkley is at it again with his shenanigans but this time with someone who is in the peak of his 15 minutes of fame. Lavar Ball, father of the famous Chino Hills High School Basketball trio, has been quoted making some interesting comments. His most recent comment got the attention of Charles Barkley and it wasn’t a healthy situation.
“Listen, I’m too old and fat to play basketball, but I’ll challenge Mr. Ball to a one-on-one. How about that?” – Charles Barkley
Lavar proved to be all smoke when he immediately turned down the challenge with another jab at Barkley’s weight.
Charles Barkley is not here for Lavar and any of his attention grabbing comments. Before the start of UCLA’s first round game, Charles was seen wearing a Kent State jersey. He plans to wear the jersey of every opposing team UCLA faces in this years tournament until they lose.
Barkley said he has “Animosity towards a certain someone affiliated with the UCLA program.”
“The one who can’t play. The one who exploded to two points a game” – Charles Barkley about Lavar Ball
While he was a college athlete at Washington State, Lavar Ball averaged 2.2 points per game before transferring to a Division II school.

It’s clear what Lavar is doing for his sons and his brand but it also clear how entertaining this all is. Just check the #lavarballsays hashtag on twitter.

Some may say he’s looking out for the best interest of his children. It’s hard to see the “good” in Father Ball’s actions/words. If your sons are as good as you say they are, let their game prove it.
While Lonzo is projected to be selected in the top 5 of this year’s NBA draft, his little brothers LaMelo and LiAngelo still have some more bad shots to take….I mean more time to prove their worth.

Looking forward to the rest of the NCAA tournament and whatever else Lavar Ball feels the need to say.
